Laser Profiles operate two state of the art
laser profiling machines; a Trumpf TRUMATIC
L2530 (4KW) and an LVD HELIUS 2513 (2KW).
We
can laser cut steel plates up to 2.5m long x
1.25m wide and cut mild steel to 20 mm thick,
stainless steel to 15mm thick and aluminium
up to 8mm thick as well as make laser cuts and
insertions as small as 0.1mm.
Sophisticated CAD / CAM computer software allows
complex profiles to be laser cut from a variety
of customer inputs; a hand drawn sketch, detailed
engineering drawing, scanned images or DXF files.
Retention of customer drawing files facilitates
cost-effective design modifications and replication.
Our CAD / CAM software allows automatic nesting
of parts, and twin pallet loading minimises
set-up time resulting in short lead times and
low costs to our customers.
MATERIALS
A
wide range of metal is stocked in-house which
allows us to turn jobs around quickly. Much of
our standard laser cutting work is in mild or
stainless steel although stocks of aluminium,
brass and copper are held and specials, such as
titanium and armour plate, can be ordered in.
FABRICATION
& FINISHING
DMS
offers a one-stop shop service to our clients,
catering to all their laser profiling requirements.
Additional onsite services include general fabricating
and sheet metal work, folding & rolling, welding
(including coded welding) and general machining
services.
