DMS run a 24/7 lights out Sheet Cutting and Plate Cutting production thanks to the full load / unload system on the Trumpf 3030 machine. Both the Trumpf 2530 and 3030 machines have 4kw laser generators allowing us to profile many materials including:

Stainless steel up to 15mm thickness
Mild steel up to 20mm
Aluminium up to 8mm

We can laser cut steel plate up to 3m long x 1.5m wide as well as make laser cuts and insertions as small as 0.1mm. Tubes and box sections, can be easily processed using the Trumpf RotoLas attachment, please see Tube cutting.

A large volume of our laser cutting work is in support of the fabrication & sheetmetal industry. Accurate and intricate laser cut shapes can be cut in a wide variety of materials, eliminating the need for machining, drilling and dressing. The dimensions of laser cut profiles can be met within a tolerance of 0.1mm, and exact reproductions can be guaranteed. From one-off prototype laser cut parts to production quantities, lead times are reduced and employing computer control eliminates expensive tooling costs. Some pre-formed components, box section and tube can also be cut.

As we are able to take drawings straight to the machine without requirement for tooling, we can offer a rapid and flexible turnaround, catering for both prototype and high volume production work.
